THE TOUR CAN BE DONE ALL YEAR ROUND
in winter the desert night temperatures are cold (even very cold); you need to wear thermal clothing or a warm suit
in summer it is very hot but a strong temperature range should not be ruled out even in the Desert which may make it necessary to wear long-sleeved clothing
Early in the morning, our driver will meet you at the Hotel in Marrakech where you will be staying and we will leave for Ouarzazate, crossing the High Atlas Mountains, on the Tichka Pass (2260 meters), from where you can admire the spectacular landscapes of these mountains.Visit to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a sand castle located on a hill and surrounded by green almond trees; a position that gives it the appearance of a nativity scene. The kasbah is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only one that shows intact the architecture of southern Morocco.The journey continues towards the Dades Valley where we will arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast we will pass through the Dades Valley and the Todra Gorges, a wonderful canyon whose high walls reach up to 250 meters, immersed in a wild landscape populated by Berber villages.Visit to the palm grove of Tinghir.We continue to Merzouga where the dromedaries await us and we will leave for a camel-ride, until we arrive at a Berber-style tented camp. We will discover the pure beauty of the landscape, sitting in front of the campfire on an unforgettable evening under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight in a tented camp.
After breakfast, we will resume the return journey, taking the road that will take us to the Draa Valley, passing through the village of Tazzarine (which appears in the film “Babel”); lunch in N’Qob.In the afternoon we reach Tanasikht, driving along the old caravan road to discover the real Draa Valley, with its large palm trees and ancient villages.At the end of the afternoon, the Kasbah of Tamnougalte that we will visit.The day will end in Ouarzazate.Dinner and overnight in Riad.
After breakfast we will get back on the road to Marrakech where we will arrive in the early afternoon and we will accompany you to the hotel booked independently.END OF OUR SERVICES
